The BOA building

I love this building. And here’s why.

No matter where you are in this city — whether you’re driving down North Ave or Peachtree, I-20 or I-75 — you can see it.

Night or day — you can see it.

On a foggy day — you can see it.

Even on my former back porch, you can see its tippy top.

It’s this constant in my life — an anchor, a point of orientation.

And I think the faithfulness of God is like that.

No matter the season, the location of your life, you can look up and see God. You can see how he’s worked on your behalf in the past, and you can how he’s faithfully pursuing you today.

Just look up.

So I love this building.

For some it’s just a massive structure of steel that creates a pretty photogenic skyline, but for me, it’s hope.

I heard someone say once that they had “a curiosity that spans the universe.” And I thought, “That’s me.”
