If you want to see who I am, look at who I take pictures of.
I capture my family, my friends. I capture them in their cheeky, on-camera smiles, in their unawares. I get them laughing, eyes rolling. I get them staring point blank at my lens, indulging me with just one more picture.
When I ask myself — Who am I? I look at these pictures of my people, and I think, “That is me. I am them.”
I am my people.
