Fall came and she went, ever so quickly. Fall felt like one long precipice, always living in the eve of something. A bachelorette, a shower or two, a wedding. And sprinkled in there were porch hangs and chili cook-offs, dinner parties and mountain retreats.

Fall reminded me of the tumble-down-hill feeling that the last 3 months of the year bring. The frantic “This year’s almost over!?!?!” and all the self-reflection that ensues.

Fall was so full, and full can be rich. But rich can also be slow. It’s the constant battle between the two that defines more seasons than not.

Anywho — I’m very proud of these pictures. They’re honest and real. The ones I treasure the most another might not, simply because they did not experience that moment alongside me. But I’m proud to have documented it, to have stood witness. I’m proud to have created something in the midst of the rush, the flurry, the festivities. I’m proud to have marked time in one small, analog way.
